New China LED Conference Announced, Exploring Market Shifts and Opportunities

21 Jan 2019 - The LED display industry continues to innovate, intensify and diversify, challenging a range of display technologies in almost every vertical and growing to an estimated USD5.8 billion by the end of 2018.

As the opportunities expand and competition heightens, Futuresource Consulting is hosting its conference, LED: Beyond Disruption, during the LED China exhibition at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre on 21 February 2019.

LED: Beyond Disruption is a must-attend event for any company operating anywhere across the global display landscape. It will examine industry strategies and trends at a component, technology, manufacturing, vertical and end user level, providing a clear picture of current and future market dynamics. Featuring the very latest Futuresource primary research, and some exclusive never-before-seen data points, the event will also give attendees the opportunity to hear from high-profile speakers who are steering influential companies on the leading edge of the LED ecosystem.

“New LED platforms, tighter pixel pitch designs, durability and energy efficiency are all key factors in the continuing rise of the LED display industry,” says Chris McIntyre-Brown, Associate Director at Futuresource Consulting. “We’re far beyond the disruption phase. With so many opportunities and markets starting to come into view, combined with mega shifts in the wider display industry, now is the time for industry execs to arm themselves with as much information as possible. It’s an exciting time, with plenty of profit potential for switched-on companies that are ready to act.”

LED: Beyond Disruption will include a mix of standalone presentations and panel debates across the following session titles:

  • Global LED display market mega trends
  • The future of MiniLED and MicroLED
  • The impact of entertainment, particularly cinema, on the future demand for LED
  • Opportunities for LED displays and collaboration solutions in corporate meeting rooms
  • Domestic development and international expansion options for Chinese LED manufacturers
  • Channel and end user requirements and challenges

LED: Beyond Disruption takes place on 21 February 2019, from 13:00 to 17:00, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre and is followed by an exclusive networking reception. Places are limited and in high demand. For further information and to book your ticket, visit
